Hi,
Newbie here so hello to all....

My question is about wiring the footswitch on the Octave Fuzz.
The PCB from the kit I have says '©2009' on it but has no other markings/version no.
I'm using the PDF instructions from the website which again say '©2009' but have no other identifying version no/info I can find.

On page 17 the instructions seem to show a jumper between pins 3 and 6 of the footswitch but this isn't mentioned in the text of the instructions.
Should it be there, or am I going mental?

Hope to hear from someone soon
cheers
nick

Yes it should be there, it shorts the circuit's input to ground when you're in bypass mode. If the switch doesn't ground the circuit's input when bypassed, you may get a nasty 'POP' when you turn it back on ... and yes, stick around here and you'll go mental, like the rest of us. :D

Yes, lugs 3 & 6 get shorted together. So do lugs 4 & 9.

Hi Naz and Stephen,
Thank you both for mega fast response- will get soldering.

Is there a place on the board to stick requests/corrections for the manuals?
cheers
