Hi there,
I have just received a 3 knob large beaver kit that I bought off ebay from a guy who bought it years ago and never got round to building it.
It all looks good and all the components are there.
However as I started to populate the PCB I noticed that there is no "Large Beaver" logo printed on the PCB to the left side as per the instructions!
Where the "Large Beaver" log should be - there are 2 round solder pads.
Does anyone know if this is a BYOC copy!!? or if it's a rare variation? The PCB looks the same otherwise.
Also, any idea what should be connected to the 2 solder pads?

Many thanks for any advice,

Paul

Hmm. Upload a pic of the board, please.

Might just be too big--the attachment size limit is 1MB. Try resizing it.

For good measure, here is the instruction file for the older Beaver: http://byocelectronics.com/beaverinstructionsV1.pdf

Thanks Nick that's the version I have. I've emailed you the photo as even when I resized it I couldn't attach it. Many thanks.

I've completed the build and everything works just fine!!

Thanks everyone for their input, especially Nick who did some sterling detective work, and unearthed the information that explained that the 2 holes are to give the option to add a mod to add the 4-way EQ switch, before it was built on to the PCB.

Thanks once again.
