Just finished the two knob MK2 Bender. I only get effect sound with both knobs nearly all the way up, and then it's gagging on itself but very quiet. Bypass is fine, LED lights up.

I noticed that the instructions have the pots reversed from what the printing on the PCB is (the photo on the page with the pot installation has us looking at the back side of the PCB, maybe that was the confusion). I suppose I'll start by swapping the pots unless anyone objects.

The LEVEL pot is A100, the ATTACK pot is B1k. I checked the instruction file and you're correct, I made a mistake with the pot install step. I fixed and uploaded the corrected file. Sorry for the confusion!

By the way, there was a 1m4001 diode in the kit. Was it meant for anything?

That's great! Glad it didn't mess anything up. The diode is a hold-over from the previous version. We had a bunch of parts-packs left from the previous version, and used them for the new one since they share like 99% of the parts. Seems that we missed a diode. We can call it a consolation of sorts for making you solder your pots twice haha.

I'm building a tweed Vibrolux right now. I'll use it in the bias circuit, just for the pleasure of balance in the world.
