Hey folks,
I'm trying my hand at my second pedal build. I've done the StewMac Screamer before, and needed to revisit the soldering a couple of times before it worked. Now that I've soldered this pedal together, it's not working either. I'm attaching pictures of the board as it stands so far. Any suggestions?
Many thanks
Mark
EDIT: Pictures can't be over a megabyte, for Thor's sake people
Second Edit: I compressed the file size but they're still huge, sorry.
Edit three: I tried compressing the pictures a little more. I tested the pedal out and - the LED comes on, when the pedal is off the sound travels through the bypass, all the knobs are on 11. When I touched some desolder wire to the connections on the out jack, it made some extra fuzzing but no guitar signal.

You've swapped the 47 ohm resistor (yellow-purple-black-GOLD-brown) with the 470 Kohm resistor (yellow-purple-black-ORANGE-brown). See marked up photo below. Since those two resistors differ by a factor of 10,000, this constitutes a major circuit problem. Switch 'em and see where you're at.

Mate, that was it! I didn't mention that I'm colorblind and my 9 year old daughter identified the resistors for me. Thanks so much, it's working now. Off to play with some sounds now, thanks again.

Glad to hear that did the trick. I was pretty sure that it would!

Better to use a multimeter and measure each resistor than to rely on a 9 year-old's visual judgment!
