Everything works except the tone bypass in the on position. Seems like most people have the opposite problem based on my forum digging. First ever PCB build, so please be gentle. Honestly I'm amazed I got any sound out of it at all. I was fully ready to call it a "learning experience" and start scavenging parts for other projects.

I'm not an expert (actual experts will be along) but if that happened to me, the first thing I'd do would be to look carefully under the tone bypass switch and make sure that no solder oozed over onto anything else on that side of the board. The holes that the lugs of switches go to are relatively large, and sometimes more solder than you think goes through to the other side. If it wasn't that, I'd then just do a general reflow of all of the solder.

A solder blob shorting out the switch would just cause it to stay in either on or off, not cut out completely. Try reflowing the solder on that toggle switch.

I tried reflowing the solder. Just plugged it in and noticed I do have a little signal with the volume on 10. Not sure if that was the case before or not, I can't recall diming the volume previously.

Would be nice to get it working, but honestly I'm enjoying it a lot as is. Love it boosted with an EQD Plumes.

Your symptoms don't 100% indicate a bad toggle switch, but they don't rule it out either. And I don't really have any other suggestions for what the problem could be. So you can try replacing the toggle switch. email sales@buildyourownclone.com and ask for a SPDT on-on toggle. They can be a little tricky to desolder, so just try to be careful not to rip the PCB eyelets off when you pull it out.

Thanks Keith, new switch did the trick! Long pause to get the enclosure finished, but it's together and working as expected now!
