My Lil Fuzz seems to be working perfectly, but has a weird high pitched buzzing that gets louder by the volume knob (it's unaffected by the gain knob) - any ideas what could be causing this?

Have you tried a different power supply? They're the most common cause of noise in "gain pedals" like the Li'l Fuzz.

Didn't even think to try that! I was using a strymon power supply which I assumed would be high quality but an EHX one is completely silent!

Yeah, it's a funny thing, with no rhyme or reason that I have found. Sometimes the cheaper P/S's are a problem, and other times, they're the solution!
