 Post subject: Super8 Looper question

Hey all:

Getting close to the end of the build on my Super8 Looper, and have a question about the IC orientation. Page 25 of the PDF instructions say "don’t forget to orient the ICs so the end with the notch matches up with the end of the socket that has a notch as well."

The big IC has a notch but the big IC socket does not; and the small IC has no notch but small IC socket does. As a result, I'm not sure how to orient either one (see attached pics).

Can anyone help?
