I like the A/B Looper's switching capability, but I need to know if there is a way to modify the box so I can keep the In/Out always on and hitting the bypass stomp only activated the A/B stomp (which would work as designed).

Attachments:
File comment: The Bypass should only activate the A/B switcher (as opposed to handing over the signal entirely), the A/B switcher does what it normally does.

I'm not really sure what you are asking. Your diagram looks like you would always have that first bank of fx in your signal path no matter what you did with the looper, even when it was in bypass.

According to how (if Im not mistaken) the box works, when you hit the bypass switch it moves from the in/out to the send return, so you are no longer on the in/out. You would lose the first chain in favor of a switchable a/b chain. What I'm looking to do is use the send returns in addition to the in out chain, so I can add the send return chain to the in out chain, rather than in favor of it.

Again, this is unless I'm misreading what the box does. I want the in/out loop always on and the ability to add or remove the send/returns.

When one of the loops are engaged, the SEND of either loop will aways be connect to the IN and the RETURN of either loop will aways be connected to OUT. You only have 3 routing options: Bypass which is IN directly to OUT; Loop A which is IN > SENDa > RETURNa > OUT; or Loop B which is IN > SENDb > RETURNb > OUT.

Why don't you just connect your guitar directly to IN and then put that first bank of effects in the other loop?

I think I'll just build it and fiddle with it if it.
