So I built the TMB18 channel/effects loop footswitch yesterday, and it works fine with a battery, but not with the 9V jack. It's wired up like the diagram:
http://byocelectronics.com/tmb18channelselector.pdfMy hunch is that on the 9V jack, the battery + lead should go where the 2 resistors are soldered, and the 2 resistors should go where the battery + is soldered. Can anyone confirm that this will fix my problem?
On a side note, the channel switch does not work at all UNLESS there's something (either an effect or even just a cable) hooked up to both Send and Return jacks. Not a huge problem, I just put a short cable in each effects loop, but you would think that it should have been designed with those 4 jacks (Send 1, Return 1, Send 2, Return 2) to be of the "shorting" type to be able to switch channels without having to use the FX loops...
