Not heard that for ages. I think I'll take the album into work tomorrow. I'm allowed to work with my headphones on (data entry...) and I get a perverse pleasure knowing I'm processing people's prescriptions whilst listening to such oddities as a ska version of the Theme from Bonanza, the second side of Todd Rundgren's Initiation or indeed, Ween.

To be honest, their country album was a big influence on the Pancho material - I thought 'If they can do a whole themed album so can I'. And now the joke's been going for over two years! :lol:

holy freaking god i LOVE CHOCOLATE AND CHEESE its my favorite ween album...i have all their studio albums and a few of their other things and its just such an amazing record, i live in hawaii so i finally got to see them this year and ive been waiting years~ they are so versatile...who else can go from a song like this to a happy song about aids to country to african jungle style music to beatles to one of the most beautiful breakup songs of all time to a song about spinal menigitis to anything they want all on one record...and thats like half...

Yeah, Chocolate & Cheese is a great album. The cover ain't half bad either ;)
