When your players have their bye week, they don't play, so switch them and place your backups in the starting rotation.

You can also drop your scrub players and watch the waiver wire or free agents, then play matchups, i.e. Teenessee has a terrible pass defense, so picking up a WR on waivers who plays for the team against that terrible TENN pass defense. Even is they are a #2 or #3 receiver. Then you can drop them after the game.

A note on Tennessee's defense and playing matchups... No one, NOONE runs on Tennessee's defense, so if your starting backs is playing the Titans', that may be another reason to adjust your lineups.

Also, I forgot who has Tampa Bay's Defense, please drop them and give yourself another roster spot!!!
