 Post subject: Strat pickup polarity

Super dumb question, but I just installed a Duncan ssl-5 in my strat, and it seems that I've lost the noise cancelling properties in position 4 of my strat. I assume this has something to do with the polarity of the handwounds I have in there now, but am not sure if there's any solution. Is it as simple as flipping the black and white, or am I SOL.
