Hello all,

I just kinda wanted to get a consensus of which enclosure everyone was planning on putting their Stutter Trem in. :?:

I'm just about ready to order all of the parts I need, I just need to decide on an enclosure.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday! 8)

Jason

I'm planning on a 125.

As of late yesterday, ALL boards have shipped.

I apologize for the delay in getting the last half of the orders out. I had a "family" emergency this week that delayed the shipment of some orders. My cat got really sick and I spent two late nights in a vet hospital and another couple late nights taking care of him. Cats do NOT like to take oral medication. Nor do they like wearing a cone.

Wow, I hope your poor kitty feels better! As a cat person myself (not ashamed to admit it ), I know it's gut wrenching when something happens to them. Image

Thank you for the hard work!

JRomero, I will probably go with a 125 I think.

That's TWO for the 125 enclosure! The 125 is smaller and will save some valuable real estate on the pedalboard, but the 1590 gives you more room to work with. What to do, what to do... Image

Got my boards in. Not only do they look great, there will be no issues building in a 125, they're not that big.

CJ hope your 'little one' is doing better. Cats are definitely not good patients.

The cat is on the mend, but he's still got to wear the cone and take liquid antibiotics every 12 hours.

This was him on Wednesday night. Not happy at all.

How did this degenerate into a cat thread? Mine eyes are itching with the pic alone.

I'd like to point out that cats rarely even stutter...

Since I wont be using a battery, Im hoping I could squeeze everything into a 1290NS (if I decide not to try a wah shell that is)

It's just a *hair* too wide for a 1290ns. But I suppose you could turn it 90 degrees and run it "longways". I think for that you'd need an external-nut power jack and push the in/out jacks down further than a "typical" build. But it would work that way with some careful planning.

Cats/dogs in those cones are just pure comedy

My dog stumbles around, banging into door frames and whatnot because suddenly his head is twice as wide as it ought to be

I spent about 3 hours last night drawing and re-drawing a momentary/latching footswitch set-up. Wanted to see if I could work my own system out, man it made my head hurt.

Thank you v much for the diagram Nathan. I'm sure I'll just use yours, it looks excellent.

I did wonder though, when the latch is off and the momentary switch is on, it looks like the circuit in is grounded via the pink line, effectively silencing things?

Those black lines on my momentary switch are NOT wires. It's just to show the normally closed condition. So when the momentary is turned on it opens that ground.

Aha, now it makes sense. Cheers, I'll go with that approach- I think it'll offer an extra dimension in use.

My two stutter trems are just about fully populated.. is the on-board LED spot just an indicator LED? Anyhow I'm pretty sure it is, but measure twice, cut once and all..

EDIT: It's gotta be the rate LED and I need to add a 2nd indicator LED off-board.. yes?

The on-board LED is indeed a rate indicator. You will need a second off-board LED. 8)

If you want a traditional on/off LED as well, you need to wire that separately off-board.

Yup, I ran the power to the indicator LED off the 9V jack. 9V jack -> resistor -> LED -> switch, heat shrink it all up.
