So, we've just finished up the last couple tweaks to the circuit. At this point we are ready to go forward with a production run of PCBs. But we need to gauge the level of interest before we place an order. The last thing I want is to have cash tied up in excess boards.

So, this is the official "Tell us how many you want" thread. 8)

The board size is 2.3" by 1.8" . They will be double-sided, with plated through-holes, solder mask (green), and silkscreen. Also, they will have three standoff holes. See the layout below.

I think we can do these for $12. And the price break will be at 5+ (goes down to $10 each). Shipping is going to be $1 per board in the US. International is going to vary based on how many you want, but I suspect that for three or fewer, it will be $1.50 per board. Pricing may change slightly, but I'm confident with the numbers at this point.

Without further ado, please tell us how many you want. :)

Ummm . . . 3? This is a cool project - maybe it will get me back to the soldering station where I belong.

(and Scott I got ya covered - ever since we had that quest 4 or so years ago for a choppy trem, resulting in the Oh Kay tremolo which had a major volume drop, which you I believe fixed and I tried fixing by grafting a boost onto the output and was met with a non-working mess which I filed in the drawer of shame - I feel I owe ya one here  ).

First off, thanks for offerring this up to the community.

My question is - will this vary dramatically from the square function on Taylor's trem board? I still have not gotten to that build, have never used a trem pedal and trying to understand whether to buy another PCB or not. I already have a pile of boards which has not gotten any love for months :(

Um,....(wrings hands, paces the room)...CJ, is it a straight square stutter, or is there wiggle room? If it's square, I'll take 1. If not I'll take 2 :D

I'll let FF answer the technical stuff. But I believe it is very square, but it can fake a less-square sound.

I haven't had a chance to build my proto-board yet, so I'm not really the best guy to answer.

I've gotten busy with something else (non hobby related) but I'll try to make another demo.

The point of the project was totally square but I made it with a Smooth switch as well that lets you kind of fake a normal trem mode. It sounds good.

This is what it will do to your signal, you can control the "off" level in the smooth mode:
