Wow - that's a good one! I love smallies too. We have some in the lake near our house, but they max out at about 12". They are fun on poppers though!

My greatest fishing memory was a smallmouth on a Jitterbug. I was a teenager. Not much into it these days, but I still remember that fight. Glad you got to have some fun on your birthday. My 40th is coming up!
