Greetings,

For the 5 knob. I understand that the BA6110 "replaced" the BA662. But seeing as the BA6110 is obsolete according the the details on the 5 knob page, is there a replacement for the BA6110? One with the same design? I know you can use the 3080, but that is not the same for the 5 knob boards I have.

Thanks in advance.

No. There is nothing that I am aware of. Not pin for pin anyway. As you mentioned, you could use the CA3080 or you could also use the LM13600 or LM13700, but they will have different pinouts.

If I were to reroute an PCB to use the CA3080 instead of a BA6110, how would I go about that, which pins on the 6110 would correlate to the 3080?

I'd reference the datasheets if I needed to sort that out. there may be better alternatives but the first solution that comes to my mind is mounting the IC off-board on a piece of vero and running wire to the appropriate pads.

Personally, though, I'd just do my own layout.

Yeah, that's how I would do it, too.
