They seem like a great idea. And $4.20 for the mono nickel version seems pretty reasonable, especially for StewMac.

I believe Reverend uses these exclusively in all their guitars. It is always listed as a feature. Seems like a good product, but haven't used one myself.

Yes, have them on a couple of guitars. They are beasts! Really good.

Yes, I've installed them in a few guitars through the shop I do work for. They are very nice. I think they're especially good for guitars like Jazzmasters, Jaguars, SGs, Jazzbasses, 335's, etc that have a jack on the front of the guitar where the plug is always exerting downward force against the jack.
