Jim Dunlop, Sr. has died at the age of 82. Nice retrospective on the Dunlop website.

He had a great run. I hope we all are as lucky to live to 82 and of course beyond. What a difference maker and great story of a man building a business from nothing.

Pretty much all my favorite picks are Dunlops. I use the Jazz III on electric (I prefer the V-Pick small "lite", but it's expensive!), and I use the .60 gray nylon ones or .50 red tortex ones for fast Irish strumming.
