Over the years I guess I forgot how much I dislike the smell of ferric chloride. Aw well, here's the etched board.

Is that better? I used Irfanview to crop & then resize.

Thanks for the resize DVM! That's less ostentatious. That was way too big of a pic for a 2 1/2 X 1 1/2 pcb!

Jimilee, thank you! I might do an etch for the enclosure too. Not sure.

Nah, just a reference to the fact that we're always asking posters to make sure that the photos of their problem builds are BIG, so we can make out details like solder bridges and the color bands on the resistors. Here's my idea of a perfect forum photo group: viewtopic.php?p=482910#p482910

The "tester" board is done and making fuzz.
Now on to making the real one.

After a few days after and tinnitus at a minimum, this thing sounds terrible!
Ordered some AC128 's. We shall see how it goes from here.

Heh the mojo parts came from a pretty much out of business local tv/audio repair shop. Old guy that owns the joint is cool as a fan man. Proud of his inventory tho, but supply/demand does dictate price so I guess that's that!

Sounds decent. But it makes my amp SCREAM AT ME when I turn the guitar volume or tone to 0.

Q1 Ac128/85hfe E= 0 B= .09 C=.52
Q2 Ac128/112hfe E=4.51 B= .55 C=.56

Such a simple circuit to be giving me issues!

If I were building it for me, I absolutely would!!
But the dude I'm giving it to I'm guessing used to gig a ton going by his gear collection. So he probably plays "right" lol
