I got this Ceriatone in the mail that I ordered back in December. It sounds amazing on channel one and two but there is a problem with channel 3.

Basically when I switch to channel 3 the amp slowly loses volume and cuts out, and when I switch back to channel 2 the volume swells back up to normal.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what the problem could be? I've been in contact with the owner but the hour difference makes quick communication difficult

Sounds like your B+ is getting cut off when you switch to channel 3, hence the fading out sound, which sounds like the power filter caps are draining. And vice versa when you switch back, it sounds like the power filter caps are filling. But I don't think anyone will be able to help you much more than that without a schematic. Has Ceriatone made their documentation private now or something?

Turns out they had two 5v relays installed where there should have been 12v relays. Those are on the way.

Not sure what's up with the documentation on their site. They do sell diy kits for the amps

Got the relays in, now channel 3 works but there is a loud pop between channel 2 and 3- which is much louder when playing.

Did you buy this prebuilt from Ceriatone? Maybe you should talk to them if you did, but I would say a bit of pop is to be expected when flipping a toggle switch. If it's with a foot controller meant to be used on the fly, I don't know. I'd really need to see a schematic.

So the problem goes away when I turn on the effects loop, so I'll just be leaving it on.

I bought it prebuilt, but the company is in Malaysia so time differences and all that make communication a little slow.

Thanks for the help!
Here's a few gutshots if anyone is interested. It's a ultra high gain Plexi type amp based on a Friedm*n Buttersl*x, with a few mods and lower wattage.
