I actually did have a cold one last night. And a sandwich made with Boar's Head roast beef, which we only just got out here. Which is a big deal for me, having grown up "back East" where sandwiches are taken a little more seriously. I love the PNW, but my god, the deli meat and sandwich rolls out here are terrible. My wife thought $15lb. for corned beef was crazy, till I made her a proper ruben.

Nice! It's not quite NYC deli quality around the Albany area, but you can still get a great sandwich here. My personal favorite is pastrami & tongue with provolone, cole slaw and Russian dressing. YUM!! :mrgreen:
