Hi All,

Just got one of the latest Champlifier kits and the cabinets are not being built by BYOC. I read on the board that the cabinet could be purchased from Marsh. I think I had the same idea as duhvoodooman of building a lacquered tweed with a 10" speaker. My question is: Do I have Marsh do the cabinet drilling? Will it be a drop in fit? If not, does anyone have any tips. I haven't purchased the cabinet yet. Thanks on advance!

I can't really say. I can only say that the chassis (and it's mounting holes) is a "standard" 5F1 chassis. So if Marsh is making its cabs to fit that, then I would have them drill as well. That being said, if you do have a drill of any kind, it should be pretty easy to do yourself. You only need to get the "x" spacing correctly. Try your best to get the "y" correct, but the holes in the chassis are slotted, so you can slide the "y" up or down so that it fits against the back panel tightly.
