Haven't really been around in a while. Just stopping to say HI. I was in quarantine with Covid and came across some pedal parts/paperwork when organizing my music room. It made me think of this place.

I have not built a pedal in while. Unfortunately, the eyesight isn't what it once was. I do repair work for local musicians pretty frequently on both pedals and guitars..... mostly for fun and to help the local musicians. Usually get paid in whiskey. Good deal for me.

Luckily, I've been keeping my gig calendar full. My regular band and a decent amount of fill-in gigs for private parties and such. Actually 2021 was the most gigs I've played in a year in over a decade.

And to all you know me well......shockingly, I don't play Teles as much as I used to. My Candy Apple Red MIM Tele Deluxe is still may "never sell", but I've been playing my Gibson LP Classic and Standard mostly. With the occasional SGs thrown in.

Be well and have a Happy & Healthy New Year.

Hey Rob, how cool to hear from you. We miss seeing you around here of course. It's great to hear you're making so much music! That's what's important.

But as a recent Telecaster-seller, I can tell you you're gonna get some flak for your guitar decisions.

Happy new year to you too.

Hey man, I was just listening to Austin Hollow. Good stuff, bro! I was just about to go like you on the social media as current social norms dictate.

And I haven't really sold any Teles....I still have too many....just not playing them recently.

I am eyeing the J Mascis Signature Fender Tele, though.

Thanks dude! We're nearing the home stretch on our full length album. It's been a really fun project—that unfortunately lost a lot of momentum due to the shutdowns last year. But we're back up and running.

Heya, Rob! Good to see you here! You'll be happy to know that I own more Teles than Strats these days! Who'da thunk it??
