I sent the Roland GK-3 route for years. Really found it inspiring for a while. Then I found it restricting and freed myself from another cable. There’s so much amazing polyphonic tech out there that absolute string restriction isn’t as necessary as it used to be.
Still, there are things you can only do with a hexaphonic pickup. It’s definitely worth experimenting with.
