Ampeg Ext. amp master volume

Hi guys, does anyone know what the internal wiring of this device looks like?
You're supposed to be able to plug it into the ext. amp jack of an Ampeg amp use it as a master volume.
I've made those effects loop master volumes but I'm not sure how this one is wired.

There's only 2 screws holding it together.....

I bet it's just a pot wired to that plug - nothing more....
