Geez, fellas, I don't know! Looks like all the problems could be cosmetic. Re-tolexing the cabinet and replacing the grill cloth wouldn't be all that expensive....IF the cabinet itself and the speakers are in good shape/fully functional. Of course, that's a BIG "if" given the exterior condition. Plus the $500 figure is a starting point, no statement that the price is "firm." Could still be worth checking out/playing through it, if you were in the market for that type of speaker cab.

Yeah. I mean the speakers alone are worth at least $200. And they look like they are in good condition. The wood and hardware alone is going to be at least another $100. And the Marshall logo still looks good. So you're looking about about $300 - 350 worth of material alone, and the cab is already built for you. If I actually needed/wanted this cab/speakers, $500 isn't too bad. I'd try to haggle down to $400. If I could get it for $300, I'd buy it as an investment regardless.
