... and I just ordered the soaring skillet. I have a ton of different drive pedals now, looking to try out some other kinds of effects.

I almost went with the echo royal.. but for one it sold out while I had it in my shopping cart(which was for several days) - but I also prefer the smaller footprints of the standard size pedal compared to the *royal pedals. But the soaring skillet looks to be a footprint all its own, which seems cool.

I'm curious to see what it can do. I don't typically hook up to two amps, though I have them, so I could. I'm wondering what would happen if I connected both outputs to a single amp. Would that entirely defeat the point of stereo output? Maybe running each output through different effects then to the amp would be interesting?

I guess it's more of a tremolo effect if just one output is connected, which is cool too.

Anyway, excited for it to come in, and hoping to learn lots more about circuit building in '23.

Did you built the skillet yet? How is it? I'm about to start mine. One of my bands has a tune where I use a Keeley Daniel Donato phasor and maxed out fast amp trem but with the skillet I should be able to combine the two and leave my amp trem at a nice slow speed all the time. The Keeley is nice but it's too fancy for me.

Playing currently with Great Mutations and Kimono Dragons
