Cool thread! I lurk every now and then. Mostly build amps these days. But did recently repair a couple of pedals and found a stash of PCBs I should put to good use.

Great to see all of these updates and glad that everyone is doing well.

I have not been here for a long time but recently, after moving house a couple of times and then country, retrieved the pedals from a box and strung em up. For that exercise I treated myself to a new fancy power supply rather than buy a fleet of 9vs. Connected em to my old amp gussied up in new clothes - the combo was wacko way too heavy, much betterer in head and cab dress (my beloved wife cracked the master vol pot off at some point and the amp sat silent till I resolved to send it back to the factory as part of moving abroad). And the damned things didn’t work. There was a high probability of me being more than immoderately drunk by that stage of proceedings so I took a pause. Anyways, I’ve decided to go double or quits and have bought a new pedal board to put them on and have bought a sacrificial 9v to see if the problem was me or something more mysterious. Hopefully they work on a second go otherwise I expect I’ll be back wanting appropriate sympathy while searching for cold joints.

You guys recall this one right? I just popped it back on my board. I really do like this vibe a lot. Who put this one together here? I've lost my doc's.

I'm well but damn busy. Would like to do some pedal building but I have a ton of other stuff taking precedence right now.

I never would have guessed that my face would be on a pedal!

Well it would be me I guess for most of my pedals have faces of one variety or another

I started in 2006 building BYOC pedals and still occasionally check in. I don’t know if that qualifies me as an old timer or not.

All of this being said......

one of the OG-est of the OG's......

Our friend Dragonfly.

Andy (Andrew) Carrell....is very sick...he's giving it the good fight and keeping a super positive mental outlook - but he definitely would dig some nice words from us that remember him.

I think you could probably go back to almost the beginning of this forum and find posts from him.

A select few of us "old-old timers" will remember Aaron Nelson's layout page, and Andy was a huge contributor to those pages.

I still have quite a few of his layouts secreted away.

Anyhow....anyone who is on social media FB.... in particular....look Andy up and friend request him...or just say "hey" and give him some good vibes.

Just lookin' out for a friend :)

Dan

Oh, I thought that was you as a centaur next to me and also next to the stomp at a vintage wedding gig?
