I've been using one of these for ~15 years now and it's never failed me. Handles AWG 16 - 26. A bit more expensive, but I swear by it:
https://www.amazon.com/Ideal-Industries ... B000RFSWF8+1 for Bob's Stripmaster, I liked mine so much, I bought the next size up for bigger wires! The only down side is that there's a small skill issue related to how much wire you want to strip - you have to control that manually, unlike some auto-strippers (i.e. my Greenlee 45000) that can be set for fixed depth.
FYI, I only own the Greenlee because a former employer forced me to purchase it. It works OK, but makes ugly-looking strips on wire bigger than 18AWG, and sometimes just fails to strip at all if the adjustable tension is set too low. Never had an issue with my Stripmasters, though
If you're on a tight budget, the classic Kleins from the big orange store work well, but are obviously more manual. They do have a nice, sharp cutter built in though!
