Here in the Albany-Schenectady area of upstate NY, we're outside the totality path, but not by much (97% coverage), so should be quite a show if the clouds cooperate. Just planning to put a couple of lawn chairs on the driveway and watch the show.

Only 50.9 % here in the Central Valley of California. I'll probably forget about it and just think it's a heavy cloud formation passing by. :P

Yeah, you guys made out a lot better during the 2017 eclipse.

It sure how dark it will get hereabouts but I have a friend who is an amateur astronomer & he’s in the path and I’m hoping to get some good pictures from him. Especially if he can get a shot of the comet if it’s visible.

Yup, lawn chair in the front yard. Had about 2 minutes of totality but I totally forgot to cue up that track from Dark Side of the Moon. High wispy clouds but it was fine.

Parents visited us from PA because we are in the path of totality, but it was totally clouded over here—whereas back at their house, everyone got a cool view of the partial eclipse. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It was definitely super cool to have it go completely dark for a few minutes and then get completely light again so fast. Glad I got to witness it out in the back lawn of our local neighborhood church.
