Since I am selling off some of my stuff (See BST lounge), I wanted to get a pic of all my builds from 2009. Since I don't plan on completing more than one or two before the end of the year, what better time that now.

Three are missing because I loaned them to a friend. So with the 28 (?) in the pic, that makes 31 totally complete, functioning pedals and amps (the lunchboxes). I have a few more in various states of debugging, non-complete wiring or apart for finishing.

Apparently 1290NS were the trend of the year for me, as 14 of my builds were in them.

The number is down from my first year of building, 2008, when I built 50-60 pedals. Still, considering I lost a month with my move and wasted a month trying to get my failed Great Build-off project to work, it's still painfully obvious I spend too much time doing this. Sometimes I think I turn out more stuff than some of the highly regarded boutique companies out there (I am only talking quantity, not quality).

Considering I have about 15 boards already populated and ready to wire, I expect to get of to a good start next year. 8) 8)

Anyway, here is the one pic:

And just for kicks, some of my builds from last year:

Awesome.

I am also desperately in love with the snakeskin finishes . . . truly a great innovation in finishing technique.

Oh crap - I have done 17 typo corrections, I'm drunk.

I know. I think this year a may build only one or two. Sell 'em for $350 and become a pompous, elitist, cork-sniffing boo-teek builder.

Or not.

Nice.

I definitely slowed down a lot this past 3 - 4 months. I spend all my time ordering/sorting parts and mucking around with 4 different breadboards. By the time I get something the way I like it, I'm too burned out to build it. :(
