And go for bigfoot next TD!

Oooh a barleywine at nearly 10% alcohol... I shall seek this out!

TN I've had a banana bread beer too, once last fall. It had to be the same one. Tasted like eating banana bread and drinking beer, which is way better than it sounds ;) You know as opposed to all those pumpkin pie and whatever beers that are so over the top with sweet and spices that they don't taste like beer at all.. :|

It's 8 pm here in Sweden and the babygirl is asleep and I'm doing nacho deluxe and have consumed 1 Urthel Hibernus Quentum, a Belgian triple @ 9% and 1 Sotholmen extra Stout from superior Swedish brewery Nynäshamn ångbryggeri @ 7% so far.
Beersnobbery, who, me? No

Guinness is not even a stout IMHO, it's something else, with ALOT less taste.
I love guinness for what it is, but it's no stout to me

Totally agree with this. More like a smooth bitter that happens to be black in color. I LOVE Guinness, but more as a 'session' beer than something I have one of to enjoy the flavor.
