I thought I'd share some pictures of my first build (Mouse).

I made some pretty bad mistakes and the soldering was a little dodgy in parts. I even managed to pull out some of the circuit board whilst trying to desolder and pull components at the same time. I wasn't expecting it to work at all when I plugged everything in, but to my total surprise it did!

It was also my first attempt at acid etching. It wasn't 100% what I was going for, but I quite like the eroded effect so in the end it's a happy accident.

I'm looking forward to more builds!

That's really an awesome frost build.

Your soldering will improve. Check "Stephen's Tips". Outstanding etch! Congrats.

I have tried and tried to get a convincing looking distressed/road worn/relic'd etch like that, and have never succeeded. Mine always looks contrived and hokey.
Whether it was an accident or not, you nailed it! An excellent first pedal.
