I just completed my first two pedal builds of the Crown Jewel and the Echo Royal and I think they sound fantastic. I also decided to create a design for each of them and do an etch. When I saw the "Crown Jewel vs 10 Famous Pedals" video, I couldn't help but think of a squid (10 tentacles) so it made it onto the front. :D

The build process was mostly uneventful and the finishing gave me the most headache. I think the toner transfer was the hardest part and I decided to etch the backs of each pedal (even though they are attached to my pedal board and nobody will see it) since it provided good practice for my etching technique before I did the top of the pedal. As you can see in the pictures, it shows fingerprints pretty badly but they look great on my board and sound even better.

Thanks for all of the kind words. My Fulltone GT-500 was instantly replaced and I love having a tap tempo delay when playing live. I can't say enough good things about both of these pedals.

I hadn't thought much about submitting them for the pedal of the month but I guess I will now. :D

So let me see if I have this correctly...Not only were your first ever two builds The Crown Jewel and The Echo Royal, (with very neat guts, I might add) you also etched both of your first two enclosures and it turned out that well?
WOW!
