I appreciate the words of encouragement. I've still got 4 BYOC kits that are un-built though, and promised myself I wouldn't buy anything more until those are completed. Getting free time to get to work on building is in real tough for me, though...My other problem is that my ideas far exceed my abilities/knowledge! lol IE: Your idea of two pots. What a GREAT idea! I would have absolutely NO idea how to wire that up, but still a very cool idea!

...In this case, the Madbean FatPants might be one you'd try. Madbean has great build documentation, including for wiring the stomp switch.
-Actually, I had figured if I ever advance to non-kits, that was probably the one I would likely try first.

Then go to Mammoth Electronics to source everything, because they sell enclosures too, including pre-drilled and powder coated ones.
Though I have minimal knowledge/understanding of electronics and have only done kits so far, I prefer to drill, etch and paint my own enclosures. For me, that's a lot of the fun. I have bought some enclosures and other parts from Small Bear, PPP and others in the past.

-Very nice of you to offer help. When I think I am ready to "graduate" to non-kits, I will likely need
lots of help! lol
