Found this version of the EDQ White Light at Guitar FX Layouts (https://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/). It looked like a fairly simple, straight forward build so I thought I give it a shot. Pedal works perfectly ("Rocked it before I boxed it" thanks to "sjaustin" for the breakout box suggestion and wire color coding!), and a shout out to "duhvoodooman" for assisting me in my first vero build (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=59680) giving me the confidence to try this on my own. Lesson learned on this one... double check to see which way the traces run before cutting the veroboard.

Nice work! (And glad to hear the breakout box worked for you.) Vero opens up a whole world of possibilities. Most days I figure 12 bucks for a PCB is a bargain, but about once a year I get the vero itch and build something that way.

Congrats—you've come a long way, baby*!

Thanks Scott! Vero, for me, is a little more challenging. I think that is what draws me to it. That being said, I just received a half dozen or so PCB's from GuitarPCB. I just couldn't pass on Barry's last sale!

Nicely done. That’s a great drive too. I love me some vero, but here lately, I’ve improved my etching, so now I’m etching PCBs like mad.

For the cuts on vero, I reverse the image to keep my confusion down.

Why did I never think of this? My brain is just terrible at inverting those images when I'm making the cuts.

Mine is too. This makes it so much easier. [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Thanks! Never crossed my mind to reverse the image! I have looked in to etching PCB's and the enclosures but still not ready to take the plunge just yet.

Ah, I’ve been building for 10 years and I’m just now doing it. No rush.

Looks good, Steve. You've made a lot of progress quickly.

Thanks everyone! If it wasn't for the support and assistance from all of you, I'd have bailed on this hobby a long time ago!
