I completed a couple new pedals.

This is the Mimosa that I was having trouble with in the support forums:

It is extremely subtle. To the point where I'm still not confident that I actually have it set up correctly. But I appreciate all the help!

I started putting these things in a dumb website so that I could keep track of them better and not have to keep typing the same thoughts over and over across my many weird quasi-musical circles, so the full writeup is here: https://dunningkrugerfx.com/smewthe/

The other one is not a BYOC. It's based on Tim Escobedo's The Bronx Cheer, which is like an envelope filter-ish fuzz.

This one is NOT subtle. And it has a transformer? Full writeup is here: https://dunningkrugerfx.com/laser-hoagie/

Those look fabulous. Turn the compressor all the way up and hit it with a hot signal. You should be able to hear the compression. I built a similar compressor, it’s very transparent for sure.

They're waterslide. Smewthe was bare metal, which I primed and painted. Laser Hoagie came powercoated white. Both got waterslide decals and clearcoat.

I just keep making these things.

This one is in the style of a fOXX Tone Machine with weird diodes:

I debated whether or not to even post this because the enclosure decoration is an inside joke that approximately 2 other people in the world could ever get, but whatever. It's funny to me. I also managed to solder in all of the diodes backwards (well, not the one on the power supply, but all of the other ones, including the LED  ). But I got it sorted, and it's cool. The full writeup and sound sample is here: https://dunningkrugerfx.com/fuzzy-bunny/

This one is the BYOC Mouse:

This pedal rips. It should be the case study for "What do different hard clipping diodes do?" I have another Rat-ish pedal, and it's nothing like this. This is also the first pedal that I'm building for someone else.

As well you should--those look fabulous! I'm sure they sound similarly great!
