Hey. I haven't been around here as much, but I've still been building things.

This one came out pretty good:

It's a PT2399-based delay. The little daughter board is an LFO that changes the delay time, which gets pretty weird. It's also got a footswitch that shorts the feedback pot and sends it into immediate runaway and an FX loop that lets you insert other effects on the delay line.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi. Happy building.

Wow! You did all that on pad-per-hole? That's hardcore. I love the purple theme too. Very cool!

Thanks!

Regarding "pad-per-hole": is that like standard perf board? This is actually vero/stripboard/whatever you call it...the kind where the pads are electrically connected in rows. It's a little unusual (to me, anyway) because it's made more like a PCB, where the holes have metal all the way through and you can't see the traces on the back. They're there though. Standard vero messes up my soldering timing because the whole row acts like a heat sink or something and the holes don't get filled as tidily as I'm used to from PCB. This stuff is pricey, but I use it on more complicated builds because I feel like my soldering is better on it.

Wow, that's beautiful! Thanks for sharing such a cool build.

And that stripboard looks amazing—I'm definitely gonna order some of that.
