This guy went together super easily today and is has a cool sound. I bought this one for a friend I thought would like it with his old Silvertone amp.

I think I’m going to do a few more staples and then dive into some more intricate and complex builds. I’m really enjoying these builds and am learning so much
about the circuits and what is doing what.

Thanks a lot. It’s been years since I’ve used an iron, but I just take it slow at first and find that rhythm. Seems to be working so far- everything has worked right off the bat. Knock on wood. Plus, these kits make it pretty straightforward. I’d like to work more on the wire runs, but that’s cool for now.

I come from a woodworking background, so this is a nice change of pace and I can work on them early in the morning or late at night when the family is in bed.
