Built the envelope Filter and fixed wah pedal. I think this might be the only pedal I put together. and.. it just.. worked:-)

Fun pedal to play on too.

All the advice out there says an envelope Filter should go near the start of the signal chain, but it feels a little hard to get sound without strumming pretty hard and/or cranking the vol on my tele all the way up. A little boost before it makes it easier. Sound normal?ImageImage

I think I had the Sensitivity set pretty high on mine, a little past 9 o'clock, when I was driving it with a Tele.

Came out great! Love the freaky fish!

Adjusting the Attack and Sensitivity are the keys on this one. Usually needs to be done with every change of guitar, amp or pedal combination. Just the nature of how it works.

Sounds about right. Lower output guitars are going to need more sensitivity. A compressor is nice too. It takes away the picking dynamics, so there is that downside, but makes it easier to dial in sweet spot and consistently get the biggest sweep....if that's what you're looking for.

Oh, yeah, that's a great idea to add the compressor before it. I built the byoc compressor, but it's at my other place of jam, so I didn't think to use it.
