Just finished my Green Pony build, went swimmingly, worked on the first try with no need for debugging.
I upgraded the foot switch with a soft click one from ‘lovemyswitches’, and switched to an external nut DC jack so that I could do my wiring outside the enclosure. Wish I had thought to order some silver knobs, cause that would have looked killer.

I used “frozen Strawberry” Montana brand spray paint for the base colour on the enclosure and the UV printer at my work for the graphics. Made the design over a couple lunch breaks.

Great work. Build quality looks great, and the design is killer. What are you going to build next?

Thanks! It’s hard to pick, the Canadian supplier is sold out of most things unfortunately. I have the silver pony 2 on back order, but I’d really like to do some sort modulation pedal, like the mega chorus vibrato

Hey, that looks fantastic! Great finish and a nice clean build overall. The only suggestion I'd make is to shorten up those wires to the jack connections at the top in your future builds.

The instructions said to cut 3.5” wires, which I thought was excessive, but I kinda just went with it. Everything fit in the end

Understood. It really doesn't make a difference on an overdrive like the Pony, but longer wires can act like antennas in some effects, particularly ones with an LFO. I find that if you place the PCB in the enclosure and mount the jacks, you can eyeball-measure the lengths of the jack wires and avoid such problems. Looks a bit neater, too. Just something to consider for the future....

That's awesome. You're lucky to have access to a UV printer.
