I seem to be dominating this thread lately... Here is my Soaring Skillet build. I'm pleased with it. No big solder blobs, no wire burns, and everything works as it should. This will be my main phaser and the panning side will be kept on the fastest setting when I need that rapid fire tremolo in a couple tunes. I sanded the crap out of the enclosure to a stainless steel look and retrofitted some 70s stereo knobs to make it look like some kind of medical equipment.

The build took about as long as the Divided Octave but was a little easier for me. I took a few notes as I went through the instructions- again from the perspective of my layman's brain.
- Page numbers missing
- Step 2b - 2.25" wire was not long enough. I had to cut a 2.5" piece.
- http://www.buildyourownclone.com/resistorcodes link is broken
- On the "add the pots" page it would be helpful to say that there is no wrong orientation for the rotary switch.

Might be my last kit for a while. I feel like I've learned all I can with the kits. Next I'd like to work on my basic understanding of how the circuits work, how to read schematics and source some parts. I'm a hands-on learner so if I'm able to build something simple, like a Fuzz Face circuit from scratch, it would be a big step.
