Hey all,

I finished my BTOC Scrambler Octave + (Ampeg Scrambler with a mod) a while back, and finally got around to paint the enclosure this weekend.

The mod, and you can see, is a Jack Orman JFet boost on the input side to let me drive the Scrambler harder.

Nice work. Surface mount mod, even! How hard did you find that type of soldering?

Surface mount sucks now, it was a lot easier when I was younger. :roll:

I found a can of Glitter Paint... had a moment of moral degrade... :twisted:

Yeah, the nice thing about the Boost is if the knob is down, it is a stock pedal, roll it up and it heads into glitchy/gated freakout mode...
