Hi,

this is my first project, and it works really great, sounds great, took me almost two days, but I'm really satisfied, and I love it. Let me know what you guys think.

Cool. Did you put glitter in there?

I tried to make a "glitter" pedal once. I figured I'd stick the glitter to a layer of clear coat. Then just pile on so much clear coat that it would smooth out the rough surface of the glitter.

The clear coat ate away the shiny stuff on the glitter and I was left with a bunch of little clear plastic flecks swimming in a sea of Krylon.

heheheh

I added a lot of glitter. For my surprise it kind of worked, even though the clear coat "killed" some of the glitter. What I did was: I applied a color coat, and let it dry for 6 hours, then I poured some glitter, it sticks by itself, I didn't need to have a sticky surface in order for it to stay in place. Then I applied the clear coat, but a very thin layer, after it dried, I applied a thicker one. It seems like the difference is that you have to use "non-cosmetic" glitter, but glitter from a paint shop. That's what I've been told. But my plan is to have a fake fur pedal, this is just a test ;)
thanks for everything
