Hello everybody,

I finished my Echo Royal. I pluged in everything, all worked fine for about 20 minutes. Then I tested it in the band. Worked for a few seconds, then no signal passed through anymore. The on/off LED and the tap LED flashed weird. After holding the on/off LED the party stopped but still there was no signal. I took it back home. There it worked for a few minutes. When I turned the division knob the signal faded out and didn't come back since then. Thanks for every help!

The first PSU provided 9V/200mA, all the other ones 9V/500mA. Can this cause my problems? I will try it again with the 200mA Unit and let you know what happened.

Hello everybody,

I've tried my Echo Royal yesterday with the Boss PSU (9V, 200mA) and it worked. How can this be?

Best wishes and thanks for any reply,
Martin

Sounds like a twitchy solder joint somewhere, causing an intermittent contact problem. I'd start by checking the wire connections and making sure all of the IC chips are fully seated. If that doesn't take care of the problem, this would be my next step: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52188
