Sorry for being a DOUCHE. :) Here's something to bide the time. Been working on an Octal Tube DI. Only 2 tubes being used, other sockets for experimenting. 6sj7/12au7, to be replaced with 12bh7 when it arrives. Soundclip-------> https://www.dropbox.com/s/vj2b5dupv19wh ... I.mp3?dl=0
Apologies for the crap bass playing. Yes, it's me.

It is awesome. I have one or two key peices in the studio (a Neve 500 series preamp for my small Neumann, Apollo interface, for example) and this DI is key to getting the sound I want in my little studio. My Moog Sub37 sounds HUGE through it!

With pedals, he's right. With amps more times than not, it's my wiring.

Oh YES! Got this bad boy dialed in now. It's a true Bastard. All sorts of cross breeding going on inside. Not your BF Super Reverb. 70's Carlsboro 50 Baxandall EQ, very British in this very American circuit. I didn't know what to expect, and wow. Just wow. Fender Mid and Punch, but Octal Chime on top, and a rounder sounding EQ. Will drop a sound clip inna few. Was ready to do it at 6am (it's about 9am now) but my neighbors have been good...so far ;)

Saw these videos a little earlier tonight; beautiful sounding amp, man. I especially liked your clean demo.

Thanks so much! :D Me too, all about the cleans. Never been a fan of the Fender breakup, which is why I imported someone to do the dirty demo. He got the soul of it, pretty good.
