Hi all!

Newb here - Been lurking a bit soaking up all the info I can. Did a couple searches and have not found an answer to this issue I’m having.
As I start soldering my resistors, I’m finding that I am melting the board a tiny amount each time. Did I screw the pooch on this, or am I overanalyzing? Thanks for your help.

Not a problem. That's just the solder mask on the PCB surface that melts a bit from the heat. Perfectly normal!
