Browsing on ebay and I found these foot swich caps that I never knew existed before, now I want to pimp my pedals out with them. Has anyone ever tried them? How well will they hold up?

I've never tried them before, but the idea seems cool. I first saw it from a company called Barefoot Buttons. Seems like there are a ton of versions out there. Make sure to report back here if you decide to try some!

Now that's an interesting idea! I often play barefoot at home (especially during these warm months), and those stiff latching 3PDT stomp switches can be tough on the tootsies!

I've been interested to try these too, but haven't gotten around to it. Fun stuff always seems to beat out utility when it comes time to spend money

I once had a pedal customer DEMAND a soft-touch, momentary footswitch, relay-bypass system. When I pointed out the current requirements and other drawbacks, he got really pissed. I finally got the truth out of him... he gigs barefoot but isn't man enough to press a 3PDT hard enough to turn on his pedals. f'ing hipsters.

I got 2 of the cheap ones off ebay to try out, they do infact help with barefoot hipster technique. I'll eventually get some more.

Now that is a clever idea; I can definitely see how that would help! (Course I just sold my Ditto to pay for part of my Helix, so nvm.)
