Build Your Own Clone Message Board

So, I have a couple flangers that makea da noise. Clock and swoosh thing that we all know too well. Neither is a BYOC pedal. It is just too loud and is annoying. Pedals sound good when playing. One of them developed the noise later in its life for some reason. I've got the same rig, same iso power supply etc.. Nothing has changed on my end other than gee I think I'll try this Colossus flanger that I haven't played in a while and now I have the noise. The new one I built has an SAD1024 in it that is way too noisy.

I guess what I'm asking is assuming the issue is with the pedal itself, anything in particular to focus on? Of note I have 2 other flangers that don't make this noise nor do any of my other multitude of modulation pedals save for a small noise here and there that is totally within reason.
