Build Your Own Clone Message Board

Hi All,

I've used these device with PA systems and you end up leaving it on all the time. Like taking a pillow off the speakers. I haven't had a chance to try the actual BBE Sonic Stomp. Good for guitar? Any thoughts? Has anyone built the AionFX Maximizer?

I love it. The BBE sonic stomp is a tone sucker, in my experience. It’s terrible.

Yup, built the Aion version, called the Lumin, as described here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=58558 I thought it did exactly what it was purported to do--adds some clarity to your output. I know the original BBE pedal has quite a checkered reputation, but I didn't find anything objectionable in Aion's version.

Thanks folks! I'll give it a try. The rack mounted stereo BBE did amazing things when I ran sound for bands.

I second this. We ran one in our rack when we were gigging.
